Katie Nack

HR Associate

Katie Nack

My Job @ Sayva:

As a Human Resources Associate, I provide hands-on support across the full spectrum of HR functions, including day-to-day operations, compliance, strategic initiatives, and overall HR management. I partner closely with clients to build trusted relationships grounded in collaboration and accountability.

My goal is to deliver seamless, high-quality HR support that strengthens teams, ensures compliance, and enables sustainable business growth.

Before Sayva I was…:

I served as a Senior Academic Advisor at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where I supported thousands of students throughout their academic and professional journeys into healthcare careers. My work centered on personalized, holistic advising while also leading large-scale onboarding initiatives, compliance efforts, and retention programs.

I partnered cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders, and contributed to training and mentoring initiatives to elevate team performance. This experience strengthened my commitment to service, operational excellence, and collaborative impact—principles that continue to guide my work at Sayva.

My Proudest Sayva Moment:

Earning a role on the HR team. From the beginning, it was clear I was meeting a group of exceptional professionals who embody both excellence and balance. Their expertise, collaborative spirit, and commitment to continuous learning reflect the high standards Sayva sets for itself and for the clients we serve.

Since joining the team, my confidence in transitioning to HR has only strengthened. The HR team consistently demonstrates deep subject matter expertise, a growth mindset, and an unwavering dedication to delivering best-in-class service. Being recognized by leaders of this caliber as someone who could contribute meaningfully to the team is an honor, and I am proud to be part of a group that so clearly lives out Sayva’s mission and values every day.

Three Things to Know About Me:

  1. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and somehow married a man who doesn’t like cheese – a bold choice in this state. I genuinely love experiencing all four seasons (yes, even the -30° windchill days). If I’m not at home, you’ll likely find me exploring a Wisconsin state park or spending time with my family in Door County.
  2. I’m happiest when I’m moving outdoors. Whether it’s running, hiking, biking, tackling yardwork, or playing along the shores of Lake Michigan with my two boys, fresh air and activity are my reset button.
  3. I maintain a sourdough starter named Eugene Levain – a nod to Eugene Levy, Schitt’s Creek, and my love of a good pun. He requires patience, consistency, and a little humor… which feels like a fitting parallel to both baking and life.
