About The Role:
We are partnering with a prominent and well-established brand seeking a Benefits Supervisor to oversee the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs. This individual will lead a team responsible for delivering a high level of service while supporting the design and execution of benefits initiatives that align with organizational priorities. This role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and effectively communicated across the workforce. This is a fully onsite position based in Orange County, California.

Salary: $140,000 – $188,000

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of day-to-day benefits operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of enrollments, life events, and related transactions
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of annual enrollment cycles, including system updates, communication efforts, and cross-functional alignment
  • Assess and support enhancements to benefits offerings, including health, wellness, and supplemental programs
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including oversight of required filings, audits, and documentation
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including brokers, consultants, and vendors, to maintain service quality and cost efficiency
  • Monitor and track benefits-related expenses, ensuring accuracy in billing and alignment with budget expectations
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to improve awareness and utilization of available benefits programs
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex benefits-related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to a team of benefits professionals to drive performance and service excellence
  • Partner with internal teams such as HR, Finance, Payroll, and Legal to ensure alignment and effective program delivery
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience supporting and administering employee benefits programs in a multi-state environment
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience with responsibility for mentoring and developing team members
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements impacting benefits administration and compliance practices
  • Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and brokers on benefits program management and renewals
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and benefits systems, including reporting and data analysis capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Professional certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SPHR are a plus
