Our client is seeking for a Valuations Manager who will work in a small, entrepreneurial professional services firm focused on business valuations. As a Valuations Manager you will be charged with providing valuation opinions to companies to use for board meetings, financial reporting and disclosure, transactions and/or tax purposes. You will work in a nimble, tight-knit team that offers growth and development opportunities, unrivaled work life balance compared to industry peers, and a beachside location.
Salary: Up to $150,000

Responsibilities:
- Perform valuations of tangible and intangible assets and liabilities for financial reporting, tax, litigation, and advisory purposes
- Assemble financial statements, project management, and helping senior management with valuations.
- Coordinate with clients about financial information, assisting in preparation of presentations or reports that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
- Perform impairment testing of goodwill and indefinite and finite-lived intangible assets
- Gather and analyze financial data of publicly-traded and closely-held companies
- Manage and perform analysis of economic and industry research
- Assists clients in solving business and transaction issues
- Assists clients in identifying, measuring, and articulating asset values
- Assist clients in presenting valuation analyses for financial reporting, tax, litigation, and other purposes
- Assist with reviewing valuations performed by associates.
- Prepare valuation reports and other deliverables to clients.
Qualifications:
- Valuation advisory experience required
- Experience with business valuation and intangible assets valuation required
- Enthusiasm for valuations as a career path required
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Certified Valuation Analyst preferred
