About the Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance organization! This role will be the finance partner to the global operations engineering organization. This includes supporting executive level report outs and providing actionable intelligence to the global team for spend , projects, capital equipment requirements, validation materials and all other expenses. The ideal candidate will partner cross functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, Technical Accounting, Engineering, and Procurement to provide updates, forecasts, budgets and recommendations to executive leadership with the support of the Sr. Manager.


• Provide actionable intelligence to the Operations leadership team around spend opportunities, project savings and KPI’s
• Partner closely with executive leadership on ad hoc project requests and support manufacturing analytics
• Develop and grow strategic business relationships between Finance, Engineering Operations and Contract Manufacturing teams
• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting processes for the Engineering Operations and Contract Manufacturing Operations teams
• Prepare monthly reporting packages that include financial statements, key performance indicators, key business trends, actual vs budget variances, actual vs forecast variances and comprehensive explanations of key differences for the operations team
• Support the preparation of capital expenditure budgets and forecast and tracking for global
• Build financial models and productivity tools to help operations management make responsible financial decisions
• Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization to deliver strategic value from the finance function
• Drive project results around areas in operations including but not limited to automation equipment, engineering validation, capital requirements and project cost savings analysis


• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, advanced degree a plus

• Experience working as a Finance Business Partner, with 5+ years of total relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting or financial planning & analysis
• Experience at a company with in-house and Contract Manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Experience supporting engineering teams and capital modeling
• Experience working in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries
• Experience working within large scale ERP systems and Hyperion Financial Management/SmartView/Essbase
• Experience driving performance improvement by leading cross-functional programs & initiatives
• Experience in cost accounting knowledge and concepts
