Senior Android Engineer

About the Opportunity:

• Hiring Senior Android Engineer for fast-paced, high growth SaaS organization
• Solving complex Android challenges and working with an incredibly talented team
• Refactoring, bug fixes and new feature product specifications and delivery

Salary: $165,000 – $175,000 DOE + Equity + full benefits + monthly tech reimbursements

Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
 

Location: 100% remote based in US

Responsibilities:

• A solid portfolio of experience building mobile applications
• Good technical foundation with ability to pick up new skills and adapt quickly
• Strong troubleshooting skills and strong ability solve complex problems
• Desire to learn new technologies while supporting existing ones
• A commitment to software craftsmanship and things like unit testing, code review, design patterns, etc.
• Ability to contribute to best practices

Qualifications:

• 5+ year experience in Android development
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Expertise with Java
• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience with Room or SQLite DBs
• Experience working with RESTful and/or GQL APIs
• MVVM, Dependency Injection, Flows, and Coroutines
• Testing with unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests
• Documentation expertise
• Experience using compose, work manager and other modern Android tools
• Experience building and maintaining mobile SDKs
• Jenkins
• Experience with GraphQL is nice to have
• Strong communication skills
