We’re partnering with a renewable energy company seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager Consultant to lead the implementation for a mobile solution (SAP’s Field Service Management) for their field technicians across North America, ensuring timely and high-quality results. Your expertise in project management, knowledge of SAP, and certifications in SAP Activate and PMP are key.
Duration: 6-12 months, high probability of extension
Location: Must be US based and able to work on PST/MST.
Range of $100-125/hour W2 including health/dental/vision, 401k with match, holidays, and sick days. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. No C2C and no sub-vendor partnerships.
- Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of SAP Field Service Management implementation project.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies, including SAP Activate, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into SAP project requirements as needed.
- Manage and resolve conflicts within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the implementation of SAP or similar enterprise software.
- Experience in the field service management industry is highly desirable.
- SAP Activate and PMP certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficient in using SAP Field Service Management or similar enterprise software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and motivate project teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
